My current work concerns observing nature through the condensed focus of decay.

I have worked with photography as an artist creating my own images, but have also edited, art directed, retouched, manipulated and supervised the making of photographs, and their reproduction, for publications and digital experiences, including websites, annual reports, museum catalogs, posters, as well as 20 foot tall building banners.

I’ve designed projects with the photographs of Ansel Adams and overseen their critical reproduction. I’ve art directed other legendary photographers for corporate assignments – Bruce Davidson, Joel Meyerowitz, Burt Glinn as well as others.

I am skilled in the operation of multiple camera formats, including 4 x 5 view camera, 35mm and 120 cameras, numerous digital cameras, and am also proficient in studio lighting techniques.

In addition, I am well versed in a wide range of computer programs, and have expert level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. My studio work is performed in a digital environment, but I am very experienced in best practices for conventional darkroom work and doing so safely.
